RALLYCROSS

If you like motorsport you will love Rallycross. Non-stop, fast, close and entertaining racing from start to finish. To get involved and trackside all you need is enthusiasm, sensible clothes, boot's and some sandwiches. You will work along side experienced marshal's at all times. We know you will have a great day and catch the marshalling bug

On purpose built circuits, mostly at existing race circuits such as Croft and Lydden Hill, up to 12 saloon cars compete in races up to 5 laps on mixed tarmac and rough surfaces against each other and the clock. The cars range from Minis to 600+bhp escorts and similar. With races approximately every 7 minutes, and a full programme of about 45 races in the day, marshalling is never a leisurely hobby.

Geographic Area: North West England
Formed in 1957, the Association of North-Western Car Clubs is one of 15 Motor Sport Associations set up across the UK, answerable to the governing body, the Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association (MSA UK) to administer and encourage motor sport in the area. Geographically, our official area of responsibility it quite small, comprising Merseyside, Cheshire and the North-East of Wales. In reality our area of operation is extensive. We have over 80 member clubs who organise events far and wide, and we run 21 championships for the members of those clubs, covering most motor sport disciplines and catering for both novice and expert competitors. We also have officials on MSA committees and a wealth of knowledge that we willingly share with our members.
