Volunteers in Motorsport

There are several areas within specialist marshalling and the following pages provide more detail on the various disciplines:

Rescue
The people who provide emergency rescue cover to all types of motorsport event.
Recovery
Providing recovery services to competitors unlucky enough to break down or go off the track on events.
Radio
Safety radio network, mainly for rallies where the distances and terrain can make it difficult to communicate.
- Radio Coordinators
  Coordinating the network of radio marshals
Timing
Providing accurate results for all types of motorsport.
Scrutineers
Checking that cars are safe and appropriately prepared for the events
